Somehow after being on Twitter for nearly a year now, I only recently discovered TwitterCounter.com. I'm not sure how long this has been around but it is more the more professional looking, organized twitter app websites I have ever seen. Needless to say things like that impressed me, so I decided a close look. ![]() TwitterCounter.com measures your stats in regards to the amount of people you follow, those who follow you and the number of tweets you make in your twitter stream. There is a convenient graph feature which will show your climb or fall pace, but it also allows you to compare yourself to other accounts so if you have direct competition in your niche, this could be an interesting way to compare your progress. ![]() If you have multiple twitter accounts, true counter.com offers a dashboard feature which allows you to monitor up to 125 different twitter accounts. Obviously that is more for corporate use I would assume, but there is a rate of $15 for up to 10 users which might be more suitable to individuals. ![]() There are some unique tools and widgets as part of twitter counters package as well which may interest you like a twitter widget which shows what twitter visitors actually landed on your twitter profile website or blog. From what I can see that feature is free. ![]() Two encounters main source of income it appears is selling an automated follower subscription base, where you either pay monthly for a minimum amount of new followers, or pick a one time fee for a set amount of new twitter followers. The prices seem reasonable and can surely expedite your followers growth on twitter, if that's what you're after. The way they do this is by featuring your profile on their page, and having your profile exposed to between 40 and 90,000 page views per day, you could see how they could basically guarantee a new followers. ![]() At the very least, I'll be using this to monitor my followers growth over time, and will surely consider a paid service as well when I figure this twitter thing out maybe just a little better. The website is located at www.twittercounter.com |
