Here is a simple Twitter traffic strategy that takes just a few minutes to do, uses the power of video, and creates visits and conversions for your blog or website instantly. All you have to do is..

find an interesting video that seems popular (but not crazy viral already), and embed it in a short blog post that adds just a couple paragraphs of information (using keywords). Add it to a relevant section in your blog. For these types of videos I have a category in my Joomla! blog called "general" where I can post almost anything of popular interest.

You want to choose videos that are not too long and can provide a giggle, tidbit, question, solution etc. Something that is specific and hits the nail on the head. In this one I titled my Tweet, Kevin Spacey schools David Letterman on Twitter. Some good keywords there and I also add in the tweet that it's a video. Tweeps love video more than anything and you will get better response than just saying the usual "my latest blog post" >> blah!

You can post a lot of these mixed in with your other Tweets. Don't think that because you are marketing, say a dieting website that you can't tweet about the latest Dexter episode for example.
