For those of you not into casting black magic spells of doom on online marketers with a different opinion, and do realize SideWiki is here to stay - I have used it in a number of ways to keep my pages active, create new inbound links, and add content to my complimentary blogger blogs. Try some of these tactics to mix up and spread out your social media strategy;

1- Making sure to have your Website Owner's message posted so that it shows up first. This is described right on Google, you just have to use your GMail and claim your website first. This clearly indicates you are on top of things and welcome social engagement for your content, service or products.

2- Adding supplementary comments like updates, related videos, or recent posts that pertain to the topic discussed on the page. This is handy because a new, fresh link or content within SideWiki can breathe new life into an older blog post or article.

3- Using your testimonials for SideWiki content. If people are using SideWiki to get more information about your offer (page), then this is a PERFECT place to post the testimonials from your current customers for anyone to see. I get testimonials emailed to me everyday and try to place at least one of them on one of my websites. Most people do NOT use SideWiki yet, so you can post it for them using your own account. I mean this is what SideWiki was meant for, the real opinions from previous users.

4- You can also use SideWiki when you find an article thief who has not given you credit for your writing. Post a message and link in SideWiki to your original article and tell readers there is more and better content there. Also ask the webmaster to kindly give you the required URL links when they use your content in the future. This will make you look professional, and the thief not so much.

5- Use SideWiki to add to your review blog. If you find a great service or product on the web, it takes just 2 minutes to post a positive SideWiki note about it and have it also posted on your WP or Blogger blog. You can even create a top 10 list of categories by adding a SideWiki to 10 competitors or 10 related content pages. Number each SideWiki asĀ  3 of 10, etc, and then be sure to >>>

6- Make sure to have several Blogger blogs set up, because for every SideWiki you enter, you can have it posted on your Blogger blog (or WP too). When I do this the SideWiki entry gets picked up by Google within the hour! This is really important because for every SideWiki you enter, you can be sure to recreate it into a new post on a Blogger or WP blog. In that sense you are creating another piece of content for yourself, and more reference for your blogger blog which could have strategic links or auto-responders included.

This is not another point but more, a general guideline. When you post a SideWiki, avoid being too negative even if the content sucks. If it is that bad, then offer something up that may have been forgotten, or add another resource. You want your SideWiki account to remain in good standing AND you want your SideWiki comments to get helpful votes too. This will keep your future SideWiki comments relevant in the eyes of Google, until proven otherwise.
