Hey Mayank. In regards to your recent mock-ups, I like this one the best, but there is still much to do with the color scheme, layout, modules, and general content. So here is a the best decriptions I can give via illustrations. Width and consistency.
Site should be fixed at between 1000-1200 pixels. The colums should match the width of the site. This white space (1), (2) looks odd and ill-planned. (3) Is way too big for the site and the orange is not going to work with the color scheme (more on that later). (4) Has poor logo integration and low impact, low interest text style. (5) This is a good video area I suppose, but not for the rating system. The rating system we can make into a smaller module that links to another page. (6) I like the navigation style, but maybe right on top of this list is where we put a small module for the rating system. (7) I like how you are making the module graphics more consistent, but I am going to dump some of these to make it less cluttered. I need more space for the BLOG to show up on the front page. So maybe we can somwhow divide section (3) where lates blog clips can show with a video or logo image there too. I am not so sure about this though. New color scheme I am using with some videos.
I like this look I am using for a new video series that will be available from the front page as well. So maybe we should try and make the color scheme complimentary to this. 
This is a card back and buttons I will using too. So maybe some of the module frames can incorporate this somehow. Also, still need a blogroll area and hot topics modules. |
